Traditional, but reinterpreted.

I’ve always loved traditional thobes, and I never saw them as something that needs “updating.” My approach within @BintAldanah is simply to frame them in a more contemporary way.

With this ‘Silver Pearls’ thoub design, I leaned into a monochrome palette — letting one tone carry the entire look. Keeping everything within the same visual family to create a sense of calm and quiet confidence.

Within that simplicity, I focused on texture rather than color. Silk against chiffon, subtle diamond detailing, structured embroidery paired with softer movement. It’s not about contrast in shade, but contrast in feel.

And finally, I kept everything else minimal. The idea is never to compete with the thoub, but to let it lead, elegantly.

Traditional, but reinterpreted.
