To the Fabric Sellers & Local Artisans…

A big part of girlhood is the ritual of going to the fabric store together — with your mom, sisters, aunts — choosing fabrics and imagining what they’ll become. Then comes the tailor, bringing those visions to life just in time for Eid.

Last week, we saw those visions realized - beautiful pieces born from a process that has shaped our culture, identity, and memories.

We’re sharing a small belated eidiya: a thank you to the fabric sellers and locals artisans who keep this tradition alive.

We’ve tagged some of our favorites (and new finds,) on this instagram reel (__) and you’re welcome to add to the list if you’d like.

Hope you all had a beautiful Eid!
