Abu Dhabi Art
A Cultural Programme by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi
Curating Experiences
From exhibitions to talks and live performances, each programme element was meticulously coordinated. Artists, curators, and performers were guided through registration, licensing, and daily updates, creating a seamless journey for both participants and audiences.
Behind the Scenes
Managing artist commissions, Gateway projects, and other exhibitions meant more than logistics. It involved capturing the narrative behind each work—bios, quotes, statements—and collaborating with social media and PR teams to tell these stories authentically.
Every image was edited to feel “editorial-worthy,” enhancing the story and atmosphere of each installation. From exhibition setups to cultural site commissions, the visuals were curated to reflect the depth and nuance of the artworks.
Editorial Vision
Leading the Press
The press tour for the cultural site commissions was orchestrated end-to-end, giving journalists and media partners an in-depth, guided experience of the works. Every detail—from access to context—was designed to communicate the significance and narrative of each piece.
Reimagining the Experience
Exploring the creative possibilities Rebounded aimed to pursue for this edition of Abu Dhabi Art—from playful content to live performances that bring each commission to life.
Lead by Mariam Saeed Al Darmaki
Over the course of the year, Mariam Saeed, Founder of Rebounded Creative Studio, provided services to Abu Dhabi Art, supporting the final edition of their year-round visual arts programme and culminating in the flagship annual fair at Manarat Al Saadiyat. The collaboration combined creative storytelling with meticulous programme management, ensuring every moment felt purposeful and immersive.
This project showcases Rebounded’s ability to merge narrative, creative direction, and editorial finesse—transforming cultural programmes into cohesive, memorable experiences.
